The Alabama Dance Exchange is a truly interactive experience for dance companies, dance artists, young artists/students, dance educators, and dance resource providers. Visitors to the site will have quick access to personalized profile pages that offer photos, videos, music, event listings, comments, and blogs. Whether you create an individual page, or a page for your organization or company, you will have unlimited potential to share your information with dance lovers. Once your account is set up, you can begin to develop your personalized profile. You can alter backgrounds, upload pictures and video, write blogs, and add friends to your “network”. Other members will be able to leave comments on your page.
Events Calendar
An important aspect of the Dance Exchange is the searchable events calendar. Events listed in the Dance Exchange calendar are automatically populated in the scrolling events section on the ADC homepage. Additionally, ADC Members will have their events featured in Footworks each week.
Create Your Account & Share your Event!
To create your free account, visit www.alabamadanceexchange.org.
- Once your profile is complete, click the EVENTS tab at the top of the page.
- In the upper right hand corner, click on “Add an Event”.
- Complete as much information as possible. Please note that the “Event Type” field will allow users to search the calendar for events based on types specified by you when you create your listing. Suggestions for event types include: Workshop, Performance, Audition, Lecture, etc.
- When you have entered your information, click on “Add Event” at the bottom of the page.
- ADC member events will be automatically pulled into Footworks each week!
