Movement Matters is our newest initiative, designed to highlight the artistry, innovation, and impact of physically integrated dance. Through performances, workshops, and community conversations, we are building a space where every body belongs on stage and in the studio.

Movement Matters is guided by the vision of Anne Nelson, a dedicated member of our Board of Directors and a passionate advocate for inclusive arts. As curator of this program, Anne brings a unique blend of artistic expertise and community leadership, helping us shape stories, workshops, and performances that highlight the transformative power of physically integrated dance.
Through her leadership, Movement Matters will serve not only as a performance platform, but also as a living archive of voices, perspectives, and resources that inspire dancers and audiences alike.
